From generation to generation under the wing of a bee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our history as beekeepers began in 1991. on July 20, during our wedding \ud83d\ude0a. Then the first family of bees arrived!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As was customary in those days, we celebrated the holiday at home - the old man's homestead in the village of Petk\u016bni\u0161kis (Utena district). On the second day of the wedding, while walking around the garden, we look - there is humming in the old, abandoned beehive! And that hum is getting louder, and the honey is getting more abundant... The beekeeping man learned from the cult book of J. Kris\u010di\u016bnas and his father-in-law \ud83d\ude0a. My dad always had about 10 families as far as I can remember. When I was a child, when I had to attack the hives, I was so afraid of bees, but now their buzzing makes me happy and calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our main apiary still buzzes today in the village of Petk\u016bni\u0161kis - next to the Auk\u0161taitija National Park. It is symbolic that right here, a few kilometers away, the Stripeikiai beekeeping museum is located, whose founder Bronius Kazla and I were good friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
