Poplar is a tree of the willow family, popularly called by special names - yew, yew, poplar... In folklore, it is sung and is as significant as oak and linden.

Poplar buds are collected in April - before they burst. It's a fun activity for the whole family, because the fingers get sticky very quickly, as if dipped in resin 🙂

Buds are rich in salicylic acid compounds (salicylin and populin), about 6%. essential oils, glycosides (salicin and populin), about 0.25 percent. flavonoids, organic acids (terminal and malic acid), tannins, resins, wax, vitamins, minerals and antibiotic substances. In addition, poplar resin contains a substance that promotes cell regeneration.

  • Populus nigra (PN) bud extract has important properties antioxidant activity due to the rich phytochemical composition.
  • PN has antimicrobial properties.
  • Traditionally, PN has been used to relieve arthritis, rheumatism, gout, heal wounds.

Usage: massage the skin in problem areas (joints, back). If you want to take care of your hair, the first time you shampoo your head, the second time you shampoo the size of a bean poplar ointment mix in the palm of your hand and rub your head well. The result will surprise you! 🙂

Composition: olive oil, poplar buds, sap, wax, honey.

Storage conditions: store at a temperature of 5-25 ºC, in a dry, dark place, inaccessible to children.
